ha after the long hiatus, i'm back posting.

those who expect a post that is specially dedicated to flaming people, will be disappointed.

basically over these few months, many things happened, regardless in band or anything.

i have to say that being a senior is really tiring for an impatient person like me.

i really cannot bear it when juniors cannot play simple stuffs.

and some juniors(not from saxos) even have those sort of bo chap attitude towards band. this sort of lousy attitude really makes me very pissed.

after 8 April's SYF, many of the year 2s said that they will work hard and teach the juniors, so as to reclaim our former glory.

but how many people actually remember these few words?

we are forgetting that we have been insulted by that person and how we had promised our seniors that we will work hard for SYF'11.

our attitudes and discipline is really like deproving and dropping like crazy.

if this goes on, how can we actually prove that woman wrong?

i hope that everyone can at least work hard together and push the band back to its former standard. im sure people won't want to be stuck with the same song for a long time. So why not work hard and play this song well? than we can be exposed to a greater variety of songs!

To my juniors who may be reading,
please work harder and have a sense of urgency. Please remember that you will be the second most senior batch in SYF'11 next time. Work hard!

syf'09

okay thinking back clearly now.

had a nice time playing on stage. i believe i did play my best.

moreover, i didnt screw up like in pri 5.

and i wasnt as nervous as in pri 5.

but the results ended up to be the same.

although people wld say results doesn't matter, it's the process that matters.

but nevertheless, i believe this medal we got mattered to us.

but let this medal be the wake-up call for us.

since the gold history has been broken,

we will start a new legacy,

of GWHs.

its time to work hard.

and for yr1 juniors, hope u all would rly start working hard now.

its our chance on stage next SYF.

practice hard and regain our glory!

syf'09

this will just be a short post.

syf'09

the results received wasnt rly desirable.

but i believe this will serve as a wake-up call.

and we will definitely strive for GWH in SYF'11.

condemns

ok i shall just post abt band on fri, aka, last day of school.

well had sectionals cos ms chan wasnt here.

and we got chased around by CO until we finally settled down near the study area.

that was when i saw two people walking towards us with their fingers in their ears, as though their ears were so fragile and delicate that they would break upon contact with our saxophones' sounds.

and guess what.

the two people comprised of a TEACHER and a SC.

wow.

they are rly polite huh?

they dont even show the basic respect for people.

by shutting their ears with their fingers, they are just showing how good their parents brought them up as.

worst still, arent TEACHERS and SCs supposed to be role models for us?

if this is what u consider a role model, i suppose u have to wash your eyes with detergent and put them in the washing machine for thorough cleaning.'

i shall condemn this two people forever.

p.s i shant state who they are but i shall offer some clues abt the teacher.

the teacher teaches as well as my maths teacher and my class, 2B, cheered when he came in to relief us.

happy guessing.

and once again, condemns to this two people.

35days to SYF'09!

are our playing standard so low?

after the sound check yesterday, i suppose all of us have finally got familiar to the stage of SCH.

afterall, we took 45min before we started sounding acceptable.(according to ms chan)

i thought we sounded not bad.

i thought we could get at least a gold.

but ms chan told us that our final playing standard was only worth a silver, probably due to the fact that we are exhausted.

can't we do better than a silver?

can't we maintain the gold or even better, get Gold with Honours?

can't we not disappoint our seniors?

can't we really focus during band pracs and not make stupid mistakes?

can't we continue striving on for our goal, Gold with Honours?

we should rly work hard, there's not much time left anymore.

sound check

okay, tmr is the sound check.

its been a long time since i last stepped on the stage of SCH.

should be about 3yrs.

erm i seem to remember vaguely the sound check for syf'06.

1h seems like a rly rly short time for a practice.

in fact its rly short.

so all RV bandsmen should cooperate tomorrow and not waste any time.

and we must make ms chan proud and let her know that we still hav hope, we still have hope to get GOLD WITH HONOURS.

its time to prove ourselves.
